Crafted in honour of Mardi Gras and the bold spirit of Louisiana, this limited edition Kentucky Owl Rye is a true celebration in a bottle. Aged for 11 years before spending a final year resting in rare Bayou XO Rum casks, it’s a rich, complex whiskey with a distinctly festive twist.
The result is a beautifully layered rye - robust and spicy, with a buttery sweetness and warm, lingering spice from start to finish.
Tasting Notes
The nose opens with toasted rye bread, farm-fresh butter, and a dusting of cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. On the palate, bold rye meets sweet butter and warming spice, with the XO rum cask finish adding a unique depth and smooth, nutmeg-spiced finish.
