Glenglassaugh Torfa Whisky 700ml
The first peated whisky release from the revived distillery of Glenglassaugh, the Torfa is fully matured in ex-bourbon barrels and peated to 20ppm. Its name is derived from the Old Norse language, which shares similarities with the Scots dialect spoken in North East Scotland, and translates to "turf" or "peat".
Glenglassaugh whiskies are made with the finest Scottish barley and traditional distilling methods, with a strong emphasis on exceptional quality. Unlike many distilleries that have turned to automation, Glenglassaugh's spirit is still meticulously handcrafted by a small and expert team, ensuring a top-notch product. Only the highest quality casks are carefully chosen to gradually age the precious spirit in their coastal warehouses until it reaches perfection.

On the nose there is a tantalising blend of sweet campfire smoke and salty sea air. The palate is then treated to a rich honey flavour on top of oat biscuits, followed by lingering notes of spiced fruit. Enjoy the purity and authenticity of this non-chill filtered and naturally coloured whisky.
