Benriach The Thirty 30YO Whisky 700ml
Built in 1898 by John Duff, the BenRiach Speyside Distillery stands out as one of the only distilleries to have its own on-site floor malting and uses water sourced from the nearby Burnside Springs.
Crafted from peated spirit and aged in sherry casks, bourbon barrels, virgin oak casks, and port casks from the Douro Valley, this single malt offers a unique combination of flavours. The sweet Speyside smoke is beautifully integrated with the fruit, malt, and oak during its long maturation process.
After aging for thirty years, the whisky undergoes a complex process of cask maturation, resulting in a beautifully layered single malt with hints of honey, smoke, dark fruits, and oak spice. Each cask type contributes its own unique flavor characteristics, meticulously combined by expert blenders to create a harmonious and exquisite whisky. The long, complex finish is characterized by notes of smoked honey, walnut, and velvety oak.
