Arette Reposado Tequila 1000ml
Arette Reposado is one of those tequilas that quietly earns serious respect. Family owned, traditionally minded and made at El Llano distillery in the heart of El Valle, this is a proper 100 percent agave reposado that balances heritage with drinkability. The Orendain family has been making tequila since the early 1900s, and Arette remains one of the few truly independent producers still doing things their own way.
Aged for four to six months in 190 litre American oak casks previously used by Early Times and Jack Daniel’s, this reposado sits right in the sweet spot between fresh agave character and gentle oak influence. It is savoury, structured and full of personality, with a slightly salty edge that makes it especially satisfying to sip. The larger 1L format makes it even better value for a tequila of this quality.
Tasting Notes
The nose opens with sea spray, herbal florals and soft vanilla. On the palate it is savoury and spicy, showing cooked agave, gentle oak and a salty minerality. Vanilla returns on the finish alongside vegetal notes and cracked black pepper, dry, clean and nicely persistent.
ABV: 38%
Volume: 1000ml
